We are seeking a Drive-In Service Manager for our service center at our Columbus Diesel Supply Co., Inc. branch in Columbus, Ohio

This position is responsible for maintaining excellent relations between customers and service department team members, scheduling service appointments, ascertaining automotive problems and service requirements by listening to customer's description, conducting visual inspections, performing test drives and reviewing service records.  The Service Manager is also responsible for developing cost estimates for parts and labor, preparing repair orders, ordering parts through the Parts Department, assigning repair orders to service technicians, and ensuring that service work is completed within the time frame and cost estimate communicated to the customer.

Qualified candidates for this position will have an Associate's degree or the equivalent from an accredited college or technical school and at least two years of management experience in automotive and or commercial truck customer service.  An equivalent mix of education and experience will also be considered.  The position also requires demonstrated customer service skills, an understanding of products and services related to the automotive industry, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency with personal computer software.  A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is also required to qualify for this position.
